Beam Diagnostic systems and parts
The beam diagnostic chamber is a module for measuring beam characteristics by placing pepper-pot emittance meter, wire scanner, faraday cup and X-Slit collimator. Beam size measurement is carried out in two ways. High-energy beam size measurement is measured using a wire scanner, and low-energy beam size measurement is measured using a screen monitor. Beam current is measured using a Faraday cup, and the desired current value can be obtained while adjusting the size of the beam using a beam size adjuster (X-Slit collimator). The Einzel lens and Solenoid magnets are utilized to focus the particle beam. BPM is utilized to monitor the beam position.

- Einzel Lens
Einzel lenses are designed to aid in focusing an ion beam into particle accelerators. This particular model consists of three axially aligned cylinders; the outer cylinders are grounded and the cylinder in the middle is held at a fixed voltage. All models are metal and ceramic construction and fully bakeable. Conflat flanges are standard, However, other flange types maybe available upon request Einzel lens consists of three sets of cylindrical aparture in series along an axis. The energy of the ions exiting the lens is uncharged from when the ions enter. BMI offers many models with various aperture diameters and voltage ratings. Custom models can be provided upon request.
