 The proton induced gamma-ray(PIG) generating systems developed with BMI's proprietary technology is the particle accelerator systems based on a variety of ion sources. Proton induced ~6 MeV mono-energetic gamma-ray is generated by the accelerated protons hitting the F19 target. Based on our advanced technology, we can provide high-quality particle accelerators with various specifications desired by consumers.

S-Band 1.6 Cell Photo Cathode

 High gradient photocathode radio-frequency guns have enabled a broad range of modern accelerator-based scientific instruments. To further enhance the capabilities of these instruments by generating brighter beams, it is highly desirable to the synergies this type of electron sources with advanced photocathodes.

 However, various photocathodes with low intrinsic emittance and high quantum efficiency require ultrahigh vacuum condition which is far beyond available in existing high-gradient RF guns.

We have the comprehensive physical design of a novel S-band photocathode gun that is compatible with advanced photocathodes.
